Every summer, Southern Cross Cutting Horses, along with our generous volunteers, puts on a 10 week Youth Rodeo Buckle Series.

Our main focus is to give the kids something constructive to participate in during the summer school break, to help improve the novice competitor's rodeo skills and to keep the cowboy tradition alive.

There are a variety of events including: barrels, poles, goat undecorating, goat tying, dummy calf roping, breakaway calf roping, muttin' bustin, calf riding, steer riding and bull riding.

With age groups from 6 and under up to 19, there's fun for the whole family.
